Solutions to societal challenges

Researching to expand approaches and contributions to overcoming societal challenges

LeNa Value module

In the LeNa-Value module research teams from non-university research and universities from the fields of sustainability research, ethics, social responsibility of science and research, and impact research work closely together. The focus of analysis is on the quality concept of research and its impacts. The results of Lena Value will lead to the description of "narratives for excellent research", which can be used to show why an increased orientation towards Socially Responsible Research can be expected to increase the quality of research results. The narratives include the ethical foundations and the significance of social responsibility and address not only the target relationships of research, but also develop proposals for new criteria, measurement and evaluation procedures as well as implementation approaches for research in social responsibility
